The MeTA - Philippines Council
The MeTA Council Philippines is a 25-member body with a multistakeholder representation from the government, academe, professional groups, the industry and the non-government and civil society organizations. former Secretary Roberto Pagdanganan serves as chairman with DOH Undersecretary Alexander Padilla and Ms. Cecile Sison Go as the vice-chairman and secretary, respectively.
The Council serves as the policy-making body of MeTA in the Philippines. It oversees the development and implementation of the country workplan and reports progress of the MeTA work to the MeTA International Secretariat.
